Turning this into a plug in light may be an easy alternative if one does not have skills to hardwire in the ceiling and offers more versatility for finding a location to hang the light. This could look really good with a rock and mineral collection to hang and illuminate a shelf. I am thoroughly impressed with the craftsmanship.
