Overall, we really like this lamp. If you look at it from a few feet away, it's obviously real wood. However, the overall effect is good. The shade is larger than what I was expecting, so pay attention to the measurements. BTW, the shade comes complete and it was packaged so well that there were no defects. The quality is truly exceptional and surpassed my expectations.

Beautiful light fixtures. They are good quality and came without any damage. We originally put clear Edison bulbs in, but they were a bit too stark due to the clear glass. We switched to amber colored Edison bulbs. I am thoroughly impressed with the craftsmanship.
